Privacy Policy
How Kindra and the clinics that use it collect, use, and protect your information.
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Kindra is client and practice software used by wellness and thermography clinics to manage appointments and stay in touch with their clients. Kindra is a product of EdgePoint Strategy LLC. This policy explains what personal information is collected through Kindra, how it is used, and the choices you have. Each clinic is responsible for its own handling of your personal and health information; Kindra provides the software the clinic uses.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give your clinic, such as your name, mobile phone number, email address, and mailing address.
- Appointment information, such as the dates, times, service, and location of your visits.
- Communication preferences, including whether you have opted in or out of text and email reminders.
- Information you submit through intake paperwork or follow-up forms your clinic sends you.
Clinic staff who use Kindra also provide account details, such as a name and email address, to sign in.
How we use your information
- To operate the software and let your clinic manage your appointments.
- To send you appointment reminders, follow-up reminders, paperwork links, surveys, and occasional service updates by text message, email, and mail.
- To respond to requests and provide support.
We use your information only to provide these services. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in, your clinic may send you service and appointment related text messages through Kindra. Message frequency varies with your appointments. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. See our Communications & SMS Policy for full details on message types, frequency, and opting out.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We share information only with the service providers that help deliver the messages, and only as described below.
How information is shared
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share limited information only in these cases:
- Your clinic. The clinic you are a client of controls your record and receives the information you provide to it.
- Service providers that operate parts of the platform on our behalf, such as our messaging and email delivery providers and our cloud hosting provider. They may process your information only to provide their service to us and may not use it for their own purposes. This support-service sharing never includes SMS opt-in or consent data for marketing.
- Legal requirements, when we must comply with the law or protect rights and safety.
How we protect your information
Access to clinic data is restricted to that clinic, and one clinic cannot see another clinic's clients. Stored credentials are encrypted, and data is transmitted over secure connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information entrusted to us.
Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to opt out at any time, or ask your clinic to remove your number.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any reminder email, or ask your clinic to remove your email.
- Your record: contact your clinic to review, correct, or remove the personal information it holds about you.
Children
Kindra is used by clinics to communicate with adult clients and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
